Curriculum Developer at Youth Guidance

Kaitlyn Palmer, MFA, serves as a Curriculum Developer, School-Based Counselor, and Postsecondary Coach at Youth Guidance since August 2019. Prior to this role, Kaitlyn held the position of Program Director at Chicago CRED from June 2018 to July 2019 and worked as a Youth Development Specialist at the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center Foundation from June 2014 to June 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as a Case Manager/Residential Treatment Specialist at Lawrence Hall Youth Services from December 2012 to June 2014. Kaitlyn Palmer obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago (2018-2020), as well as two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English/Writing from The University of Memphis (2007-2012). Currently, Kaitlyn is pursuing a Master of Social Work at Walden University, which began in June 2022.
