Leslie Mendoza Lcpc

Leslie Mendoza, LCPC, currently serves as Program Manager at Youth Guidance since September 2022, overseeing school-based counselors and facilitating group supervision for counselors pursuing state licensure. Prior to this role, Leslie worked as a Clinical Supervisor at UCAN from June 2015 to September 2022, providing outpatient services to youth and families affected by trauma. Additional experience includes positions as a therapist at Begin Within Therapy and Garden of Reflection Psychotherapy, where Leslie offered counseling to diverse populations utilizing evidence-based and trauma-focused approaches. Leslie has also contributed as a Reflective Practitioner Supervisor at Northwestern University and has extensive experience in outpatient services and consultation through roles at Community Counseling Centers of Chicago and Headstart. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
