Michael T. Baglivio, Ph.D. is VP of Research & Development, focusing on the effectiveness of performance measures and outcomes. Michael earned his Ph.D. from the University of Florida (UF), College of Criminology, Law, & Society, and holds a Masters of Health Science in Rehabilitation Counseling and Master of Arts in Sociology. Dr. Baglivio was among the first to bring the study of adverse childhood experiences in the form of cumulative traumatic exposure to the study of juvenile delinquency. Michael’s recent research on juvenile offending, traumatic exposure and adolescent development has recently appeared in Justice Quarterly, Journal of Youth and Adolescence, Journal of Criminal Justice, and Criminology & Public Policy. Recently, Dr. Baglivio has received a courtesy faculty appointment at the University of South Florida, College of Criminology.
