Lou Antonio Matera has a diverse work experience in the field of sports and fitness. Lou Antonio started their career as the CEO & Founder of Youth Sport Nutrition in 2015. In 2019, they joined SmithWorks Golf as a Director. Later, in 2022, they founded Invent Impossible.
Lou also has experience working with professional sports teams. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the U18's academy squad at Newcastle United Football Club. Lou Antonio'sresponsibilities included planning targeted strength and conditioning sessions, analyzing performance data, and implementing nutritional strategies. Lou Antonio also worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the academy's younger age groups.
In 2011, Lou served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach intern for the first team at Gateshead Thunder RFC, where they developed training sessions and injury recovery strategies. Additionally, they briefly worked as an Associate Tester at British Cycling in the same year.
Lou Antonio Matera attended Northumbria University from 2010 to 2013. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science with a focus on Applied Strength & Conditioning and Nutrition.
