Scott Palmer

CIO at Youth Villages

Scott brings both an extensive knowledge of information technology and a deep familiarity with Youth Villages. He began his career as a Network Administrator at Desoto Systems. In 2003, he joined Youth Villages as an Information Technology Specialist. As the organization grew, Scott assumed more responsibility, moving into the IT Manager position in 2006 and then advancing to Assistant Director of IT in 2008. In 2013, Scott became the Director of Information Technology for the Briarcrest Christian School, the largest private school in the Memphis area. He holds a bachelor of business administration in management of information systems from the University of Memphis and a master of business administration from the McAfee School of Business at Union University.

While working previously here at Youth Villages, Scott met his wife, Jan, who now serves as the Director of the Rose Center for Girls. Scott and Jan have two children, Adyson (age, 10) and Noah (age, 8).
