Candice Cook

Candice Cook has a diverse range of work experience starting in 1999 as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technician for the City of Phoenix. Candice then worked as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Training and Testing Coordinator for Arizona Public Service - APS from 2001 to 2002. In 2003, Candice served as an Education Assistant for the Urban Ecology Institute through AmeriCorps *VISTA. Candice also worked as a Program Leader for Outdoor School at the Multnomah Education Service District (MESD) from 2003 to 2005. Candice joined Citizen Schools in 2005 as a Teaching Fellow until 2006. From 2007 to 2015, they served as a Program Manager for Boston Natural Areas Network, Inc. Currently, Candice holds the position of Associate Director at YouthBuild USA. Candice has been with the organization since 2015 and has held roles as a Data Services Manager, Associate Director of the Affiliated Network, and is currently the Associate Director of Digital Information Systems.

Candice Cook earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Arizona State University between 1995 and 1999. Candice later pursued a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Out-of-School Time Leadership from Lesley University, completing it between 2005 and 2007.
