Alison Lomax

Alison Lomax is the Managing Director of YouTube UK and Ireland since January 2023, focusing on online safety in collaboration with government and policy makers, while enhancing the creator economy for diverse British talent. Additionally, Alison serves as a Director and Advisor at Trans in the City, promoting inclusion of gender diversity in business, and a Trustee at Berkhamsted Raiders CFC, the largest youth girls football club in England. Previous experience includes roles at Google, where Alison held positions such as Managing Director in various sectors and led the brand strategy for UK YouTube. Contributions have also been made as Digital Advisor for the British Fashion Council and as COO and Exec Board Member of WACL. A background in digital media began at Tribal DDB London, with significant leadership roles across multiple agencies. Alison holds a BA (Hons) in Government and European Community Studies from Newcastle University.
