Waleed Diab

Waleed Diab has a strong background in the music industry, with considerable experience in senior legal counsel roles. Waleed began their career at MTV Networks as Senior Counsel for Music Strategy & Relations from February 2005 to March 2011. Waleed then joined Google Inc. in April 2011 as Senior Counsel, where they were responsible for negotiating complex music licensing partnerships and setting policies and guidelines for music initiatives across Google products and services. In May 2016, Waleed moved to YouTube, assuming the position of Director, Global Head of Recorded Music Business Development. Their work at YouTube focuses on developing and expanding global partnerships within the recorded music industry.

Waleed Diab completed their education at the University of Maryland from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance, General. Waleed then pursued a Juris Doctor degree at the Cardozo School of Law from 2001 to 2004.
