Richard Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of health and recovery. Richard served as the Founder and Director of Comprehensive Recovery Resources Inc., a non-profit organization focused on community-based addiction/recovery services, from July 2010 to August 2012. In 2011, Richard earned a Certificate in Positive Psychology from Drexel University Continuing Education. Richard also completed an MBA degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the University of Scranton from 2011 to 2013.

Richard has acquired numerous certifications throughout their career. Some of these include being an Internationally Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional and an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor, both obtained in June 2003. Richard also holds certifications as a Certified Advance Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor, a Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional, and a Certified Clinical Supervisor, all obtained through the PA Certification Board in different years. Richard is also a Certified Clinical Supervisor through the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board since August 2012. Moreover, they are a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and an ARISE Interventionist. Richard has completed conflict management certification and a positive psychology visionary science program from Coursera, as well as a Family Group Decision Making Facilitator course from Allegheny County Child Welfare. Richard is also certified as a Department of Transportation-Substance Abuse Professional by the NAADAC-National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors.
