Chris Harris

Chris Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Chris started their career at Prudential Assurance in 1990, where they held various roles until 2004.

In 2004, they joined BSkyB and worked as an Implementation Manager for SkyView, responsible for managing key deliveries during a period of strategic growth. Chris later became the New Media Release Manager, overseeing the implementation of Sky's New Media platform and other web-based services. From 2008 to 2009, they served as the Service Support Manager and then became the Technology Risk Management Lead, Project Manager, and Technology Business Continuity Manager. In this role, they managed the relationship between Technology and the central Audit & Risk function.

In 2011, Harris joined YouView TV Limited as the Release Manager, where they built the Release Management function for YouView's launch. Chris was then appointed as the Service Manager, followed by the Head of Service Management role. As the Head of Service Management, they led a team responsible for managing the continuity and quality of YouView's services to viewers and content partners.

Overall, Harris has extensive experience in service management, release management, risk management, and project management within the technology and media industry.

Chris Harris attended the University of Liverpool from 1979 to 1984, where they obtained a 2.1 Hons degree in Psychology. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in "CompTIA Security+ (SY0-401) Cert Prep: Cryptography" from LinkedIn in January 2018 and "Big Data Foundations: Techniques and Concepts" from LinkedIn in October 2017.
