Sunit Kotecha

Sunit Kotecha has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sunit began their career as an EPoS Project Manager at WHSmith in 1995. Sunit then moved on to work at o2 Germany as an IS Test & Implementation Manager from 1998 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Carphone Warehouse as an IT Project Manager, where they were recognized for their outstanding performance and received awards. From 2006 to 2009, Sunit worked at TalkTalk in various roles, including IT Operational Change Manager and Head of IT Service Management. In 2009, they became the Head of IT at Five. Currently, Sunit is employed at YouView TV Limited, where they have held roles such as Head of Operations, Operations Director, and currently serves as the Director of Operations and Delivery.

Sunit Kotecha attended London South Bank University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Second Class Honours (2:1) in Business Studies & Human Resources.

In terms of additional certifications, Sunit Kotecha earned several qualifications throughout their career. In November 2020, they completed an Accelerated Certificate in Company Direction with Distinction, offered by The Institute of Directors. In January 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Information Security Management Principles with Distinction from the British Computer Society. Sunit also completed various online courses, including "Creating Your IT Strategy," "IT Security Foundations: Core Concepts," "Implementing Your IT Strategy," and "Learning Cloud Computing: Cloud Security" through LinkedIn in September 2017.

Earlier in their career, in October 2004, they became a Managing Successful Programmes Advanced Practitioner certified by APMG International. Sunit also holds an ITIL - IT Service Management Foundation certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, obtained in June 2004. Sunit Kotecha received the PRINCE2 certification from APMG International in November 2000.
