Kirsten van Berkel

Kirsten van Berkel is a psychiatrist with extensive experience in mental health care, currently serving as a Vrijgevestigde psychiater at Upful Zorg since September 2023. Kirsten has a strong background in schema therapy and dual diagnosis treatment, having worked at Youz and GGZ Delfland where the focus included complex psychological issues and addiction. Prior roles include positions at Antes, Rodersana, Ergatis, Fivoor, and a residency at Erasmus MC. Kirsten holds a Medical Doctor degree in Psychiatry from Delta Psychiatric Center Poortugaal, a Master in Science from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a Bachelor in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapeutic Techniques from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven.
