Abidur Rahman Abid is currently a Scholar at the International Affairs Bureau of the Korea Forest Service since April 2021, awarded a prestigious Korean scholarship aimed at developing ecosystem conservation and management models for Bangladesh. Abidur serves as the Regional Representative of Asia Pacific for the International Forestry Students' Association (IFSA) and holds the position of Global Coordinator for the YOUNGO Agriculture Working Group within the UNFCCC, collaborating with top climate activists. Additionally, Abidur is the Country Representative for YPARD, promoting young agricultural leaders, and has been appointed National Vice President of Exchange for IAAS South Korea, focusing on agricultural and related sciences education. As a research assistant at Chungnam National University, Abidur is pursuing a Master's degree in Agriculture and Life Sciences after obtaining a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Patuakhali Science and Technology University. Involved in various global initiatives, Abidur is a member of the UNCCD Youth Caucus and the Global Youth Biodiversity Network and has participated as a delegate at events like COP27 and the XV World Forestry Congress.
