Alex Stansfield

Alex Stansfield has a diverse work experience in various technology and engineering roles.

Alex most recently served as the Head of Technology at YPB Group since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Engineering at Rabbit Finance from May 2020 to August 2021.

Alex also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Gogoprint (Group) Pte Ltd from May 2018 to May 2020.

Before that, they were the Head of Engineering at Asia Pacific Internet Group (APACIG) from November 2016 to May 2018. During this time, they built a development center in Bangkok and managed a polyglot development team for Rocket Internet Asia.

In addition, Alex served as the Chief Technology Officer at ZEN Rooms from November 2016 to May 2017, where they successfully moved the development operations from Berlin to Bangkok.

Prior to their roles in Asia, Alex worked as a Software Development Manager at Gomeeki from July 2014 to November 2016.

Alex also gained experience as a Development Manager and Senior PHP Developer at Affiliate Window from April 2011 to June 2014.

Before pursuing a career in technology, Alex started as an English teacher in China and worked as a freelance PHP developer. Alex has also worked as a PHP contractor at 1st Contact and as a freelance web developer.

Alex Stansfield attended Cranleigh School from 1991 to 1996. From 1996 to 2000, they studied Mathematics and Computing Science and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Surrey.
