Germán Fernández Lahore

Mr. Fernandez Lahore has been our Legal Affairs Corporate Vice President since December 2015.

He joined our company in February 2002 and served as our Upstream Legal Affairs Manager. Prior to joining YPF, he served as an attorney at Estudio Beccar Varela, and as foreign associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Fernández Lahore earned a Law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, participated in the Academy for American and International Law, Southwestern Legal Foundation, Dallas, Texas. As Chevening scholar, he earned a master’s degree in Natural Resources Law and Policy from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (University of Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom).

He also earned a postgraduate degree in Tax Law from Universidad Austral, and completed the Management Development Program at the IAE Business School. He is a member of the Academic Council of the Argentine Journal of Energy, Hydrocarbons and Mining.
