Janell Burley Hofmann

Janell Burley Hofmann is an internationally recognized author, speaker, facilitator, and consultant, serving as the founder of JBH Enterprises LLC since September 2013. Through this venture, Janell focuses on promoting tech health and balanced living while providing communication tools for youth, families, schools, and businesses. As the author of "iRules: What Every Tech Healthy Family Needs To Know About Selfies, Sexting, Gaming & Growing Up," published in May 2014 by Rodale Inc., Janell addresses the complexities of parenting in a technological age. Additionally, Janell has served as a professional speaker for organizations such as YPO and SXSW, and has been involved with the Family Online Safety Institute as a panelist and moderator. Janell's educational background includes a Master’s degree from UMass Boston in Critical & Creative Thinking and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Bridgewater State University.
