Katherine Adams

Katherine Adams is an experienced communications and media professional currently serving as a Strategic Content Creator and Media Specialist at the University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence. With a strong background in writing and editing, Katherine has held various roles at the University of Houston-Clear Lake since 2016, including Writer/Editor and Assistant Director of University Communications. Katherine's freelance work spans several years, featuring contributions as a freelance journalist for YPO and other publications. Prior experience includes Editor-in-Chief at Galveston Monthly Magazine and Managing Editor at Communities Creating Change Magazine, alongside roles focused on public relations and communications. Katherine holds a Master of Education in English from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and German from Indiana University Bloomington.
