Mark Vasquez

Mark Vasquez has a diverse background in various roles and industries. Mark started their career in 1994 as an Information Systems Coordinator at the United States Department of Defense, where they worked until 1999. Mark then joined Iowa State University as an Information Systems Support Specialist from 2000 to 2010. Mark Vasquez then worked at Des Moines Area Community College as a Library Technical Assistant from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they established their own business called Fantastic Plastic Toy in 2012, where they served as the Business Owner. Since 2014, Mark Vasquez has been employed at YSS, initially as a Client Services Officer from 2014 to 2017, then as a Client Services Coordinator from 2017 to 2020. Mark then served as a Clinic Operations Coordinator at YSS from 2020 to 2021 before being promoted to Clinic Operations Manager in 2021. Currently, Mark Vasquez holds the position of Clinic Operations Director at YSS starting from September 2022.

Mark Vasquez completed a Certificate Program in Business Analysis at UCLA Extension from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Latin American Studies from Iowa State University - College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from 2006 to 2010. Mark also holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the same institution, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. In the future, Mark plans to pursue the Innovating in Health Care Certificate Program at Harvard Online. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Disney's Approach to Quality Service from Disney Institute in 2021.
