Doreen Osumi

Doreen Osumi is currently the superintendent of Yuba City Unified School District. Doreen has held this position since December of 2014. Prior to that, they served as the assistant superintendent of educational services for the district from December 2005 to December 2014. Before that, they were the director of special education for the district from December 2003 to December 2005.

Doreen Osumi started their career in 1990 as a language and speech specialist for Sutter County Superintendent of Schools. Doreen then became a program specialist in 1997 and eventually the director of special education in 1998, a position they held until 2003.
