Alessio di Mauro

Alessio Di Mauro started their career as a PhD student at the Technical University of Denmark in August 2011. Alessio worked as a PhD student until October 2014.

In October 2014, Alessio joined Yubico as a Software Engineer and worked in that role until December 2017.

In January 2018, they were promoted to the position of Principal Engineer at Yubico and held this role until June 2020.

From June 2020 to July 2022, Alessio worked as the Director of Firmware Engineering at Yubico.

Since July 2022, Alessio has been serving as the Senior Director of Firmware Engineering at Yubico.

Alessio Di Mauro holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science at Sapienza Università di Roma from 2007 to 2010. Alessio also has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Sapienza Università di Roma, which they earned from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Alessio Di Mauro has obtained various certifications in different areas. Alessio completed courses such as "Developing Your Musicianship," "Algorithms: Design and Analysis," "Fundamentals of Music Theory," "Fundamentals of Audio and Music Engineering," "Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems," "Cryptography," "Introduction to Programming for Musicians and Digital Artists," "HTML5 Game Development," "Survey of Music Technology," "Coding the Matrix: Linear Algebra through Computer Science Applications," "Introduction to Music Production," "Malicious Software and its Underground Economy," and "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" through platforms such as Coursera and Udacity between 2013 and 2014.
