Ludvig Michaelsson

Senior Firmware Engineer at Yubico

Ludvig Michaelsson began their work experience in 2011 as an Assembly Line Worker at Envirotainer, where they were responsible for assembling temperature-controlled air freight containers. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, assisting students in various electrical engineering and programming courses. In 2016, Ludvig joined Tritech Technology AB as an Embedded Systems Engineer, where they developed software, drivers, and tools for compliance and production testing for embedded systems and IoT. Ludvig also worked as a Master Thesis Student at Tritech Technology AB, focusing on designing and evaluating an energy-efficient indoor positioning system for dairy cows. Currently, Ludvig is working at Yubico as a Firmware Engineer and has recently been promoted to the role of Senior Firmware Engineer. Ludvig is involved in developing and enhancing the YubiKey, a small USB and NFC device that provides secure authentication for computers, networks, and online services.

Ludvig Michaelsson completed their high school education at Rosendalsgymnasiet from 2007 to 2010, focusing on natural sciences. Ludvig then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Design and Product Realisation from 2011 to 2014 at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Following that, they continued their education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and received a Master of Science in Engineering Design (Mechatronics) from 2014 to 2016.
