Núria Bertomeu Castelló

Núria Bertomeu Castelló has had extensive work experience in the field of natural language processing and artificial intelligence. Núria served as the Director of Natural Language Processing at YUKKA Lab AG from June 2017 to the present. Previously, they were the Chief Science Officer at parlamind | lia labs GmbH from August 2015 to May 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Searchmetrics, Inc from October 2014 to August 2015. Núria also has experience in academia, as they worked as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at the University of Potsdam from September 2015 to May 2017. Núria has also held research positions at the Zentrum für Allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft, Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), and Saarland University. Additionally, Núria has worked as a self-employed consultant, developer, and lecturer in the areas of language technology and artificial intelligence.

Núria Bertomeu Castelló obtained a Master's degree in Linguistik und Kognitionswissenschaft from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computerlinguistik at Unsiversität des Saarlandes. In addition to their formal education, Núria also holds several certifications in Graph Analytics for Big Data, Hadoop Platform and Application Framework, and Introduction to Systematic Program Design - Part 1, which were obtained through Coursera Course Certificates in 2013 and 2015.
