Micah Sexton has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Yukon Public Schools since August 2020, after previously working as a Special Education Teacher at Bethany Public Schools from August 2013 to July 2020. Prior roles include Middle School Special Education Teacher and Special Education Paraprofessional. Before transitioning into education, Micah Sexton worked in the beauty industry, holding positions as a Hairstylist at In Style Beauty Salon and as a Hair Stylist Assistant at Cottonwood Salon Spa. Micah Sexton holds a Master's degree in Administration with a focus on Special Education from Southern Nazarene University and a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma, in addition to an Associate's degree in Health Care Administration from Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City.
Yukon Public Schools
Yukon Public Schools (YPS) opened its doors in 1891 in a small, one-room frame building. Since then, the school system has grown to a population of over 8,400+ students. YPS is fully accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. In addition, Yukon High School is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
