Lauren Berkemeyer is the Vice President of Marketing at yulife. Lauren has over fifteen years of experience in marketing, with a focus on growth marketing, customer marketing, and end-user marketing. Lauren is a strategic and analytical thinker with a passion for using data to drive decisions.

Lauren started their career in marketing at a small startup. Lauren then spent several years at a large corporation, where they led the marketing team for a major product launch. After that, they joined LifeWorks, a world-leading mental health and wellbeing platform, as the Vice President of Marketing.

At LifeWorks, Lauren was responsible for the go-to-market strategy, including the creation of the value proposition and market positioning. Under their leadership, the LifeWorks team grew to 26 passionate marketers. Lauren also drove future digital capability through the acquisition, implementation and maintenance of best-in class marketing & sales technology and tools. In 2018, LifeWorks was acquired by Morneau Shepell for $426 million.

Since joining yulife in 2020, Lauren has continued to use their skills to grow the company. Lauren is passionate about yulife's mission to make life insurance more engaging and believes that the company's technology can change the industry for the better.

Lauren Berkemeyer received their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University.

Lauren Berkemeyer works with Cali Gold - Head of People, Jonathan Roomer - Co-Founder & Head of Customer Success, and Jaco Oosthuizen - Co-Founder & Chief Insurance Officer.
