James Hance

James Hance is a Robotics and Automation Engineer at Yum! Brands, having transitioned to this role in November 2023 after serving as a Sales Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer at HAHN Automation Group from November 2021 to November 2023. Prior to this, James co-founded and led UPick as CEO from December 2020 to November 2021. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, where studies were completed from August 2017 to May 2021. James also gained mechanical design experience through multiple internships at REI Automation between 2018 and 2020 and worked as a File Clerk at Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow, P.A. in the summer of 2016.
