Jon Hixson

Jon Hixson currently serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Yum! Brands, a position held since May 2017. Prior to this role, Jon was the Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Cargill, where leadership encompassed communications, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and government relations across the Americas. Jon also held several senior roles at Cargill, including Director of Corporate Affairs for the Asia Pacific region and Director of Federal Government Relations, where efforts focused on brand protection and complex policy matters. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and Chief of Staff for Congressman Jerry Moran. Jon holds a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard University, an MBA in International Business from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Kansas State University.
