Matt Rosenthal

Matt Rosenthal is an accomplished leader in innovation and technology strategy, currently serving as the Pizza Hut Global Director of Strategic Projects at Yum! Brands since February 2021. With a strong background in driving strategic initiatives and overseeing the RED Innovation Labs, Rosenthal has successfully explored disruptive technology concepts such as robotics and AI to enhance customer and team member experiences. Prior experience includes founding and managing BHP's Houston Innovation Hub, where Rosenthal focused on leveraging cutting-edge technologies within an innovation ecosystem. As Digital Strategy Lead at BHP, Rosenthal developed the company's first digital innovation strategy for significant capital assets. Previous roles at Booz Allen Hamilton and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory included extensive project management and systems engineering experience, complemented by early career research at MIT and operational training for NASA. Matt Rosenthal holds an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
