Danae Lucas

Danae Lucas serves as the Vice President of Quality at Yumi since January 2024 and holds a position as an Adjunct Professor of Food Science at Chapman University, teaching Food Ingredients. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Director of FSQA at Revolution Foods and Vice President of Quality & R&D at CAULIPOWER. Danae's career also features extensive quality assurance management positions at Smart & Final and Brothers International Desserts, along with sales management roles at Hygiena and Biolog, Inc. Early career experience includes technical oversight at Pacific American Fish Company. Danae earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Food Science with an emphasis on Food Microbiology from Chapman University between 2004 and 2009.
