Darren Thwaites

Darren Thwaites is currently the Head of Global IT Infrastructure Management at Yunex Traffic / Siemens Intelligent Traffic Systems, a position held since April 2021. Prior to this, Darren served in various roles at Siemens from August 2005 to March 2021, including Head of IT Account Management for Region Europe 1 Siemens Mobility, European IT Account Manager for the Mobility Divisions, and IT Business Analyst Professional Europe. Key achievements include managing the integration of IT and infrastructure services at Invensys Rail UK post-acquisition in 2013, and overseeing complex projects related to IT services and business requirements alignment. Earlier experience includes roles within Siemens Building Technologies and as a Web/Product Catalogue Administrator at CCL Computers Ltd. Darren holds a BA (Hons) in Interactive Media from The University of Huddersfield.
