Alyssa Hryciw

Alyssa Hryciw is a dedicated provisional psychologist currently serving at Crossroads Psychological and Horizon Counselling Service since January 2020, while also volunteering as a counsellor at YWCA Edmonton since January 2019. Alyssa has a solid foundation in research as a former research assistant at the Behavioral Alcohol Research for Clinical Advancement Laboratory and the Addiction Neuroscience Laboratory, where responsibilities included participant screening, assessment administration, and conducting analyses of brain tissue. Additionally, experience as a community mentor at University Housing involved conflict mediation and policy implementation. Education includes a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University, complemented by a minor in psychology.
