Nicole Hughes has extensive experience in program operations and housing management at the YWCA Metro St. Louis. Nicole started as a Case Manager in the Transitional Housing Program in 2004 and eventually became the Program Supervisor, responsible for planning, development, and implementation of policies and procedures. In 2010, they became the Transitional Housing Program Manager, overseeing the program until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, Nicole served as the Permanent Supportive Housing Director. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Program Operations.
Nicole Hughes received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Social Work from UMSL in 2009. Nicole then went on to complete a Master of Management degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations at Fontbonne University from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Non-Profit Leadership and Management from Fontbonne University between 2012 and 2014.
