Brenda Ulmer has extensive experience in fund development and special events. Brenda started their career in 1993 as a Campaign Coordinator at YWCA Vancouver and later moved to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation, where they worked as a Campaign Coordinator and then as a Resource Development Manager. In 1999, they joined Delta Farmland and Wildlife Trust as a Fundraiser before becoming the Director of Development at BC Women's Hospital Foundation in 2000. From 2002 to 2013, Brenda served as the Fund Development Director at YWCA Vancouver. Most recently, they held the position of Vice President of Fund Development and Special Events at YWCA Metro Vancouver since 2013.
Brenda Ulmer obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Major in Urban Land Economics from The University of British Columbia from 1988 to 1991. In 2015, they also obtained the Certified Fund Raising Executive certification from CFRE International.
