Shantal Cashman is a seasoned professional in fund development and marketing communications, currently serving as the Fund Development Manager at YWCA Metro Vancouver since January 2022. Prior to this role, Shantal held various leadership positions, including Director of Development & Marketing Communications at Wildlife Rescue Association of BC, and multiple roles at The University of British Columbia, where responsibilities included overseeing development and alumni engagement for athletics. Shantal also served as President of the Vancouver Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, leading initiatives to support 450 fundraising professionals. Additional experience includes positions at Liberty Quest Enterprises, Simon Fraser University, YWCA of Vancouver, BC Pavilion Corporation, and BC Institute of Technology, contributing to successful fundraising strategies and event management. Shantal holds a Marketing Management Diploma in Communications from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
