Jemma Riedel-Johnson

Jemma Riedel-Johnson is a Community Engagement Coordinator at YWCA Spokane, a position held since August 2020, which focuses on educating and facilitating outreach efforts to eliminate racism and empower women. Previously, Jemma served as an Education and Outreach Advocate at YWCA Spokane, where education about intimate partner violence and enhancing web content were key responsibilities. Jemma's experience includes a Graduate Student Assistant role at Eastern Washington University, supporting student communications, a Camp Counselor position with Girl Scouts promoting leadership among young girls, and serving as a College Access Program Coordinator with Washington Campus Compact, assisting at-risk youth in college readiness. Jemma holds a Master’s degree in Communications and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, both from Eastern Washington University, along with an Associate’s degree from Wenatchee Valley College.
