Jamie Platt

Jamie Platt is a skilled healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and education. Currently serving as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner at YWCA USA since September 2020, Jamie also works as a Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN at Corewell Health since July 2018 and owns Grand Rapids Birth & Postpartum Services, LLC since June 2017. Jamie's previous roles include Director of SMAK Volleyball Club, Adjunct Faculty at Grand Valley State University, and Childbirth Educator & Infant CPR Instructor at Metro Health. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Clinical Support Associate in Pediatric Endocrinology at Spectrum Health Medical Group and Medical Assistant at Executive Family & Sports Medicine. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Valley State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Certified Nurse Midwifery at Frontier Nursing University, expected to graduate in May 2024.
