Mary Schroeder

Mary Schroeder, MPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at YWCA West Central Michigan since December 2024. Prior to this role, Mary held positions including Director of Finance at Legal Aid of Western Michigan and Director of Accounting at John Ball Zoo. With a strong background in financial management, Mary has also worked as Finance Manager at Home Repair Services of Kent County and served two tenures as Director of Finance at YWCA West Central Michigan. Additional experience includes the role of Director of Operations at Senior Neighbors, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed finance management and human resources for multiple locations. Earlier in the career, Mary gained expertise as a Grant Accountant at Goodwill Industries and Finance Director at both the Music Center of South Central Michigan and United Arts Council of Calhoun County. Academically, Mary holds a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Leadership and Administration from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from Ferris State University.
