Manuel Ortega's work experience begins in 2006 as a Graphic Designer intern at ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño (GPD), where they focused on project design and stand design for national and international fairs. In 2007, they worked as a Designer intern at Digitmedia.es, followed by a role as a Creative at Arena Media, where they designed and executed advertising campaigns and created corporate images and packaging. In 2012, they became a Director of Art at The Red Company, leading art direction, web design, and advertising campaign development. Later that year, they joined Factorsim - RocaSalvatella as a Director of Art, overseeing the creative process, managing design projects, and presenting proposals to clients. In 2015, they worked as an Art Director at BUM - Blasi, Urgell, Morales, focusing on online art direction and design for promotional sites, corporate applications, and e-commerce platforms. Also in 2015, they worked as a UX/UI Designer Freelancer at manuel-ortega.es, specializing in digital art direction, interface design, and user experience. Most recently, starting in 2016, Manuel has held various roles at Z1, including Lead Product Designer, VP of Design, and Chief Design Officer, where they lead the design vision and strategy, coordinates the design team, and ensures product excellence aligned with client needs and user requirements.

Manuel Ortega's education history includes several academic achievements and professional development in the field of design and graphic arts. In 2004, they attended CEADE, where they pursued a degree in Design and Multimedia Technologies, focusing on design and creativity. Manuel successfully completed their studies in 2007.

In 2011, Manuel enrolled in El Centro de Formación CICE in Madrid, Spain, and completed a Professional Master's Program in Design and Development of Web Projects, specializing in Web Design. Manuel completed this program in 2012.

Later in 2012, Manuel attended the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona for a Postgraduate degree in Web Design 2.0, with a focus on graphic design.

In 2016, Manuel pursued further education in the field of User Experience (UX) through an online program called "UX Learn online: Usabilidad y Experiencia de Usuario" offered by uxlearn.com.
