Elsbeth Wesselink

Elsbeth Wesselink is an experienced hospital pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree obtained from the University of Groningen, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Since August 2006, Elsbeth has served as a hospital pharmacist at Zaans Medisch Centrum. In addition, Elsbeth has held the role of PhD candidate at Amsterdam UMC from January 2017 to September 2024, and has been active in the Nederlandse Vereniging van Ziekenhuisapothekers (NVZA) as part of the Special Interest Group (SIG) for ICU/SEH/anesthesiologie since December 2011. Previously, Elsbeth contributed to the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Anesthesiologie's working group on off-label anesthetic use from January 2012 to December 2015 and served as a board member of JongNVZA. Elsbeth's career began with a clinical traineeship and pharmacist position at Gelre ziekenhuizen from August 2000 to August 2006.
