Miriam Miranda

Miriam Miranda is an experienced R&D and Innovation Consultant at Zabala Innovation Consulting, S.A. since August 2019, focusing on funding opportunities and project management for various sectors including industrial, energy, and health. Prior to this role, Miriam held positions at Element Six as Project Manager and Principal Research Scientist, managing R&D projects, developing new products, and participating in H2020 projects. Experience at Imperial College London included serving as an Intra-European Marie Curie Fellow, managing research in functional ceramics and hybrid materials. Additional roles include a postdoctoral researcher at ITMA Materials Technology and a PhD student at the Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Research Center, where research focused on ceramic composites. Miriam’s education includes a Ph.D. from the University of Oviedo in nanostructured biocompatible composites and a Certified Scrum Master credential from Scrum Alliance.
