Niclas Uggla

Niclas Uggla is an experienced professional in the field of intellectual property, currently serving as Global Sales Lead Patents at Zacco since September 2025. Uggla has held various significant positions, including Patent Attorney for the Swedish Intellectual Property Attorneys Association since 2006 and a Foreign Affiliate at AIPLA since June 2010. Uggla's prior roles include Head of IP at Heart Aerospace, where focus was on manufacturing electric aircrafts, and Senior Patent Attorney at Zacco Sweden AB, overseeing the Uppsala Office and assisting clients with patent-related matters. Uggla has also contributed to the European Patent Institute as a substitute member of the EPI council and has experience as a Chief Technology Officer at Nilar International AB and Aros Patent AB, specializing in patent application processes. Uggla holds a Master's degree in Applied Physics and Electro Engineering from Linköping University and is a qualified European Patent Attorney.
