Vinay Reddy

Vinay Reddy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Vinay started their career as a Scientist at Philips Research in 2006 and worked there until 2008. Vinay then joined IBM in 2008, where they held various engineering leadership roles. In their role in the Netezza database group, they led in-database analytics initiatives and developed a Python push-down analytics framework. Vinay also managed an initiative to develop impactful use-cases in various domains. Later, they transitioned to the role of Engineering Leadership in Conversational AI at IBM Watson Education, where they led the design and development of a dialog-based Watson Tutor. Vinay was responsible for all aspects of Conversational AI, including building dialog flows and developing tools for transcript analysis. Currently, Vinay Reddy is working as the Head of AI Strategy at Zacks Investment Research, starting from June 2023.

Vinay Reddy holds an M.S degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Vinay also obtained a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
