Mazi Taghivand

Mazi Taghivand has worked for three companies in their career. Mazi started at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory) as an Affiliate in 2001 and worked there until 2003. Mazi then worked at Qualcomm for 17 years, starting as an Engineer in RF/Analog in 2006 before working their way up to Senior Engineer, Manager/Staff Engineer, Manager/Senior Staff Engineer, and finally Principal Manager. Mazi worked at Qualcomm until 2023. That year, they started working as the Head of Business at Zadar Labs.

Mazi Taghivand has an extensive education history in electrical engineering. Mazi attended Los Angeles Pierce College for two years starting in 1999, but did not obtain a degree. Mazi then earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Caltech in 2004. In the same year, they co-registered for a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as earning the degree from Harvard University. In 2004, they also had a brief stint at the University of Cambridge studying Electrical Engineering. Taghivand then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University from 2009 to 2015.
