Emily Garza

Emily Garza has had a varied career since 2010. Emily started as a Student Failure Analysis Specialist at The Reliability and Failure Analysis Laboratory at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. In 2013, they moved to Byers Engineering as an Outside Plant Engineer. In 2014, they joined The Toro Company as an Engineering & LEAN Manufacturing Analyst. In 2016, they moved to TesCom test equipment sales, repair, and calibration as an Operations Analyst and Marketing Manager and a Purchasing and Materials Analyst. In 2019, they joined AVNIK Defense Solutions, Inc. as a Consultant and an Operations and Project Control Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Zaden Technologies as the VP of Operations. Zaden Technologies is an all-remote company incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in Huntsville, AL. They offer industry-leading software development and technology products utilizing advanced methodologies such as artificial intelligence, DevSecOps, Agile product development, active system monitoring, and cloud computing.

Emily Garza has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, which they completed between 2008 and 2013. Emily is also an Engineer in Training (EIT) certified by the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF EXAMINERS FOR ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology and Innovation Management at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, which they began in 2022.
