Mechanical Engineer at Zahroof Valves

Chase Johnson has worked as a Mechanical Engineer for three companies: ZAHROF Valves Inc. since 2017, Del Packaging from 2016-2017, and McCoy Corporation from 2013-2016. Prior to that, they were a Design Engineer for Tooling Technologies MFG from 2008-2013. At Del Packaging, they designed custom packaging and conveying equipment for food and other consumer goods products. At McCoy Corporation, they were part of the New Product Development team designing bucking units and iron roughnecks. At Tooling Technologies MFG, they quoted, designed, created engineering drawings and oversaw building of custom manipulators, fixtures, jigs, torque arms, and various material handling devices. Johnson has achieved several accomplishments throughout their career, such as helping to design an adjustable safety gate on an automated laser-cutting box opener and developing the first commercially available all-electric bucking unit. Chase also developed an efficient procedure for quality checking parts using the Faro Gage CMM.

Chase Johnson received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University between 2004 and 2008. Chase obtained additional certifications including Overhead Crane Training from McCoy Global in December 2014, CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid (adult, child, & infant) from the American Safety & Health Institute in June 2014, and Engineer in Training certification.
