Russell Huang

Russell Huang has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent role is as the Vice President and Head of Procurement at Zai Lab, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Merck as the Global Category Director for Advertising and Media from March 2019 to July 2022. Russell also had a role as the Procurement Director at MSD from April 2016 to March 2019. Before that, they were the Head of Procurement at Sinarmas Agribusiness and Food from June 2015 to April 2016. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at AstraZeneca, GE Healthcare, Amersham Health, Colgate Palmolive, Shanghai Kingstore Fashion Accessory Co., Ltd, and Shanghai Huahui Auto Instrument Co., Ltd. These roles included leadership positions in strategic alliances, global sourcing, category management, and vendor management.

Russell Huang completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Foreign Trade from Xi'an Jiaotong University between 1993 and 1997. Russell later pursued their Master's degree in MBA - Supply Chain Management from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2004 to 2006.
