Chief Digital Officer (cdo) at Zain Iraq

Daniel Turan has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Daniel is currently serving as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Zain Iraq, where they are leading the digital transformation of the company and achieving high average revenue per user (ARPU). Prior to that, they were the General Manager at oodi, Iraq's first digital operator.

Daniel also had a long tenure at du, where they held various roles including Head of Digital Channels, Digitization & UX, Director Transformation & Delivery, Director Customer Experience Delivery, Senior Program Manager, and Director Service Assurance. Daniel played a key role in digitizing du's workforce, implementing robotic process automation and AI services, and designing the digital user experience.

Before joining du, Daniel co-founded Jean Marc Bellmann and worked as a Principal Consultant. Daniel handled multiple projects in the MENA region, including business simulation, supply chain management process audit, sales channel revamp, and brand experience.

Daniel started their career as a Senior Consultant at ProWorkz Management Consulting. Daniel also worked at Orange, where they served as the CRM Manager Business Segment and later as the Team Manager Enterprise after-sales support.

Daniel Turan obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Communication and Management Development from Universität für Weiterbildung Krems between 2004 and 2006. Daniel also earned a Harvard Manage mentor certification from Harvard Business School Online in 2014, and holds additional certification as a PSM Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org.
