Assad Hamid

Assad Hamid is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as Master/SDPO at Zakher Marine International Inc since July 2008. Assad has also held various roles in the film industry, including Assistant Director at Formula Films, where responsibilities included tracking production schedules, arranging logistics, and ensuring crew safety. Prior to that, Assad worked on multiple projects as part of the Showbiz team and held health trainer positions at Southend Club, Shapes Health Studio, and Get Smart Gym, focusing on exercise and dietary plans. Academically, Assad holds several maritime qualifications, including a Bachelor in Nautical Science from Australian Maritime College and an Advanced Diploma of Commercial Marine Surveying from the Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors.
