Joel Owona

Joel Owona is an experienced leader in warehouse implementation and project management, currently serving as Team Lead at Zalando since April 2019, overseeing a team of project managers across major projects in the Netherlands, Germany, and France. With a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale fulfillment center developments, including a 105,000 square meter facility in Poland and a 130,000 square meter center in Italy, Joel has demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking. Prior to Zalando, experience included a managerial role at Lesara, co-founding a startup supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and contributing to SAP rollout projects at Deloitte Consulting. Joel holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Jade Hochschule.
