Roberto Roverso

Roberto Roverso is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in applied science and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Applied Science - Home and Content Visibility at Zalando since March 2018, Roberto oversees engineering and applied science teams focused on home and content placements, as well as algorithmic solutions for promotional activities. Previously, Roberto held various roles at Zalando, including Head of Applied Science focusing on personalization and recommendations and Engineering Manager for fashion recommendations. Prior experience at Hive Streaming includes serving as CTO, where responsibilities encompassed aligning business and technical goals and leading R&D efforts for core technologies. Roberto's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Distributed Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and multiple degrees in computer engineering and information technology.
