Andrei Stoian has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Full-stack and backend software Developer for a video distribution platform at TorrentMedia - LiberTV. In 2007, they were a Business Analytics Developer at DataSis ProSoft. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at Ubisoft as an AI and Gameplay Programmer, and from 2011 to 2012 they were a Teaching Assistant at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Thales in various roles, including Deep Learning R&D Specialist, Lead Eng for Vision, and ThereSiS Innovation Lab. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Principal Researcher - Machine Learning at Zama.
Andrei Stoian earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Vision from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Graphics from the Université de Bordeaux in 2012. Andrei also earned an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in 2009.
